Can your jaw really unlock once it's gotten this bad? Before when it locked on me it didn't hurt for me to move it around and pop it back in but now it's so tender to the touch that I can't move it around....it's definately different THIS time.

Now my jaw locks closed a lot. I wake up in the morning with it locked and then it continues to lock throughout the day. I unlock it myself usually, even though it hurts. I was wondering if there is something I could do to prevent it from locking or to reduce the discomfort caused by unlocking it.
