My Toothache Remedies ... It said you could place vanilla extract on your tooth to make it stop hurting. I did this and it didn't seem to have much of an effect on me. I have used cloves and clove oil before but didn't have any on hand. Clove oil really does help but I don't know if it would work on a really bad toothache.
