I’m from Ontario Canada and in our town our Wal-Mart has always done layaway. We are just going to a super store and we couldn’t be more thrillerd. There is also alot of compitition with Zellers,Giant Tiger,strip malls and our downtown area. ... Very interesting that your local Wal-Mart offers layaway.

I heard a rumor that Wal-mart was going to bring back lay-a-way. I sent the powers that be @ Wal-mart asking if this were true. They sent me ... Wal-mart discontinued layaway as soon as they entered the credit card scam. they felt it was more profitable to issue credit cards at 28% interest then to use the layaway program!!
