Rather than buy a water level why not just take 20' of 3/8" ID (Inside Diameter) clear tubing, and attach it to a coffee can with a soldered on 3/8" OD copper tube. [If it's a one-time job, you can just put the end of the tube in a can or bucket and siphon water into the line.
