My sleep problem seems to be that my skin and scalp feel like something is constantly crawling. I move constantly b/c of this sensation and find it almost impossible to fall asleep with out OTC or perscription drugs.

It's so hard sometimes to explain this sensation, since it sounds 'strange' to say you feel bugs crawling under your skin. I guess I'll just need to accept this ...... ... I mentioned this to the neurologist and he said they often treat people with nerve damage due to other causes with B12. Just thought it might be...

I have always referred to this condition as a "crawling" sensation under my skin. It could not be accurately described as a pain or soreness or cramp ... I went to the local emergency clinic where a very perceptive doctor diagnosed it as dendritic keretitis -- the same herpes which causes chicken pox had set up on my cornea.

What ever was causing the crawling sensation was definitely in the chair, ... Also, this happens to me when I get around pets (sorry pet owners) as I think they are major carriers of what causes the crawling and biting sensations.
