The only thing you should be feeding them is high quality frozen blood worms like bio-pure hikari. this brand uses smaller bloodworm's for easy digestion by these guys.. some eat frozen brine shrimp as well... HBH makes a frog and tadpole p...

I have several African dwarf frogs {Hymenochirus boettgeri}. These make great pets for the beginner. They are as complicated to deal with as goldfish! Granted, you can't feed them fishflakes (they only eat food that sinks to the bottom of the tank!), but you don't have to feed them live icky bugs either!

African Dwarf frogs are great for small to medium sized aquariums. There are 5 ... They won't eat anything else. Fourth, be very careful that your filter intakes are screened if kept in a tank with power filters. They can easily get a leg or arm sucked in and can drown. I only put frogs in tanks with undergravel filters.

What do african dwarf frogs eat? Preferably the animals (from above mentioned reasons) eat living or frozen bloodworms or tubifex worms. Before feeding, you should "wash" frozen food with clear water and water living food for 2 days (see general information).

African Dwarf Frogs need live food such as Live Black Worms and live brine shrimp. Perhaps they will eat frozen brine shrimp and frozen blood worms. A few frogs will eat freeze dried blood worms and maybe even some flake fish food or dry shrimp pellets.
