What do pheasants eat? curious one (Sun 14:26 10/Dec/06) ... In addition to Lonnie's post, pheasant chicks eat insects, almost exlcusively until about 6 weeks aold. Here in the western U.S. we leave several row of wheat, oats or barley for pheasant forage in the fall to see them through the winter months.
