Day 13 had the Kota tribe eating high on the hog as they pulled in their nets full of fish and it was funny as they all took turns getting shocked by a fish that was in the nets too. Over at Fang, instead of trying to eat, they were all inspired by an elephant…in Africa, no less.

The fact that the disaster of a tribe known as Fang managed to pull it together enough to win two back-to-back challenges was refreshing, if only because it calmed Jeff Probst down and forced Kota members to do more than sit around their (far better) camp and have (far more intelligent) conversations with each other.

This Fang tribe is pathetic. Last week, I wrote about how my feelings towards Ace have begun to shift dramatically (from abject hatred to reticent respect). Survivor: Gabon has been a tale of two tribes. There's really no other way to put it.

In her interview with BuddyTV this week, Gillian said that one of her biggest regrets was picking Crystal first on the Fang tribe and not outing her for the superior athlete that she is. It doesn't matter at this point what Gillian's regrets are since she's out of the game, along with Michelle.
