There is no Biden bounce according to the latest Gallup tracking poll, as John McCain actually is taking a 46-44 lead over Barack Obama. We can leave it to a Chicago ethicist to explain how Jones’s contributors have not in fact been paying bribes for all these years, but at least we know why it happened.

The AOL straw poll obviously tilts more towards McCain than any scientic poll - the latest has an astonishing 3-to-1 (76% - 24%) 50-state lead for McCain. I suspect AOL users are older and more white than the public at large.
