I have windows 98. I have a pop up actulice.exe that I can't get rid of. I looked on this forum and found some ideas to delete a bunch of files...pup.exe, over.exe and a few... ... Summary: I've had the actulice for weeks and used a combination of the many wonderful suggestions above to finally get rid of it.

Actulice worm or virus Windows XP Security Admin ... > search for "actulice.exe". It may simply have the "hidden"; I couldn't find it either, but I found xtrac32e.exe which I think is that program. I deleting that file and it seems to help. Also search for pup.exe and delete them too.

Show 75 post(s) from this thread on one page ... Scan with Archives; and checked all options under Memory and Registry. Clicked on tweak and under Scanning engine selected Unload recognized processes during scanning; under Cleaning Engine selected Let Windows ... The annoying actulice popup no longer shows up. Am I home free?
