Hey guys - I've heard with pre-e most babies are intrauterine growth retarted (IUGR) AKA too small for their gestational age, but that with our condition it is usually head sparing so that their heads still grow at the normal rate.

We call this "Head-sparing IUGR." So if the head is normal size (or bigger, with error) than the dates, things are usually O.K. If the femur length is far behind the gestational age, there may be head-sparing IUGR.
