Skin biopsies were consistent with a peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Thickening of the scalp resulted in cutis verticis gyrata. He had a history of hypertension, coronary artery disease, and glaucoma, but was otherwise healthy. He stopped smoking several years ago. His father and a sibling had similar skin findings.
