What is Motives SmartBridge? (motivesb.exe) - forum topic ... No, it wasn't motivesb.exe I removed, it was something called WildTangent. But nonetheless, I'd still like to know what Motive SmartBridge is. ... God only knows what Verizon truly uses it for. Some obscene form of spyware?

I have a new pc and keep experiencing pop up that motive smartbridge update is available, click yes, window opens, disappears, then another pop up states smartbridge is already running. I have to do the ctl-alt-dlt and end task to get it to stop. ... I don't have an answer, other than: In my system it belongs to Verizon,

I read on a forum that Verizon Support (especially Motive SmartBridge) was a problem for some folks, so I uninstalled that, but without any improvement. I have run Norton AV, Verizon's PC Security Checkup, Adaware, Window Washer and HijackThis, all in Safe Mode.

i uninstalled verizons software. all of it. and everything went faster for me. however, if your os is not xp there might be some recognition issues. if you have xp, it doesn't need verizons software ( Motive Smartbridge, verizon updater, and such) found in your control pannel.
