So my car is losing power and jerks sometimes while driving down the road. From a dead stop it will shake as I'm trying to take off and won't acccelerate like it should. And sometimes while already rolling if I step on it, it will go faster but at a slow pace as if it didn't have any power.

[Archive] HELP!! Car Jerks bad! 2nd Gen (93-97) V6 2.5L ... I have no idea whats wrong with my car. Got a new clutch installed and its working great (clutch has about 700 miles on it). The all of a sudden my car jerks really really really bad. I mean its like when you spin your tires on ice and then it grabs hard on pavement.

What things have gone wrong with the car? ... All dash lights come on while driving for about 5 seconds, thus resetting the odometer clock. The car jerks briefly during this time as if it intends to stall. Then it behaves fine for the next 30kms.
