A few words about terminology: Kodak introduced a chromogenic paper with the name Type-C in the 1950s, and then discontinued the name several years later. The name Type-C and C-print have remained in popular use since this time.

The original definition of a "C" print was a print from Kodak Type "C" color paper intended to make prints from color negatives. At the same time, there was Kodak Type "R" paper for making prints from Kodachrome and Ektachrome slides.

A c-type print, such as Ektachrome, is a colour print in which the print material has at least three emulsion layers of light sensitive silver salts. Each layer is sensitised to a different primary colour - either red, blue or green - and so records different information about the colour make-up of the image.

Hello I am from the UK and was after the US spec model-A KLR650, however I am struggling to find one for sale in the UK. I was wondering if it is relatively easy to convert a type C (Eurp spec) to the Type A ie. bigger tank etc.
