I don't know what a "megapixel camera" is, but a VGA camera stands for visual graphics array, and the pixel resolution on them suck. They're usually 0.3 megapixels, so you should not get one of these.

VGA is 640x480 lines, which works out to 0.3 mega-pixel. That's plenty of resolution for a small e-mail attachment, but for prints you'd want 3 megapixels or more.
