Being educated today means everything. It use to be you could get good jobs without it. But now, with the technology changing every day you need a good education to keep up with it. Being educated means higher paying jobs.

As I look back now, especially after having taken Introduction to Ethics last semester and with Drew broadening its own liberal arts philosophy to include such learning in the new general education requirements, I now understand the significance of the liberal arts philosophy and what it truly means to become educated.

Here is my understanding of what it means to be educated as it stands now. I feel that to be educated, you must have a well-rounded knowledge of a variety of academic topics and subjects. In addition to this you must possess minimum inter-personal skills and experience in dealing with other human beings.
