henri, the cavilier king charles spaniel, who turned 9 years old this past sept has begun to slow ; he can't jump up on the bed every time so i usually help him up and he'll sleep all day ; and lately his teeth have been chattering ; ... i don't know what's up with that but i believe a trip to the vet is in order...

Makes sense to think about, but certainly not what most people do. Luckily I’ve about half managed to learn to say a command only once (I fail occasionally). Yabbering a word at a dog that’s ignoring you makes the word useless, really.
