sounds like something is wrong with your fuel management system. your fuel injectors maybe bad/clogged. the fuel filter may need to be replaced. fuel pump may also need to be looked at.

I'm about ready to shoot my car. It all started with a simple occasional sputter at low speeds. Right away, we had it serviced- changed oil, oil filter, air filter, and PCV valve. This was to no avail. Then it turned to sputtering up to about 40 mph and then the occasional chug while driving.

Question: 2001 Chevy Impala mileage: 68,000. My car won't start on the first try, it takes at ... I am not sure if that makes sense, but I don't know how else to explain it. My husband has replaced the plugs and wires, we have also taken it to be serviced at the dealership; they could not find anything wrong with it.

I've got a 1999 Grand Prix, 3.8L. The car seems to want to sputter at around 1800-2300 RPM when the car is under load and I only notice this on the interstate/highway. ... makes glitch finding easy.. they do have to be set up on a pc first... so you are looking at the correct channels of data.. most do not have the ability...
