I am just curious - have any of you swaddled your babies for many months? Will he settle down at some point and not wake himself up ... It comes in different sizes too. My six month old still can't nap well without being swaddled and the Swaddler stays far more in tact than doing it myself with a blanket. Good luck! Stacy D...

Babies are strange. ... But to address your problem....at about 4-5 months old, he too started taking only 30-45 minute naps....it drove me crazy!!!!! I (finally) discovered that he was needing longer intervals between naps. I had him napping about every 3 hours, and the times would vary depending on what time he woke up in...
