i think they start working after one week.. thats what my clinic told me... im in my teens an started being on the pill almost a month now... bt i still use condomns... the more birth control methods the less percent chances you have getting pregnat.

Birth Control Pills, generally, start working immeadiately following the last period. They are not, however, at full effectiveness untill a full month of daily(at the same time each day) consumption of the pill in question!
