Because she was given a new sentence of life, she will be eligible for parole. I wish I could give this book 4.5 stars. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that I feel the book got bogged down in one small section after Barbara's arrest, and during her trial for killing her second husband, Russ Stager.
