WHEN fossil fuels run out, not IF but WHEN, we will hopefully have other resources. Most likely, we will. those other sources are things like hydro electricity, biomass, and other renewable energies like that. If we don't develop the technology we need to supply our energy from those, then we will be in a real pickle.

I think that if we ran out of fossil fuels then we would find a solution. Americans will not go from high class to medival that quickly. There are many other ways to power our world. Hydroelectric power, wind turbines, solar, ... And by the time fossil fuels run out, we probably will have already found a way.
