The first step of protein synthesis actually occurs in the nucleus of the cell and involves the production of the template RNA. The actual synthesis occurs in the cytoplasm of the cell on the ribosome. Look here for more information: http:/...

This process can be divided into two parts: ・ 1. Transcription ・ 2. Translation

It begins in the Nucleus of the cell (Transcription) then moves to the cytoplasm of the cell for Translation. Ribosomes change the mRNA into proteins by ribosomes, using tRNA and amino acids.

No, not in the structure of the ribosome, but you have to understand a ribosome is not a whole organelle. A ribosom doesn't exist without a mRNA attached. If there is no mRNA, there are just 2 isolated subunits.

Protein synthesis is a complex process that occurs in living cells to turn the information contained in DNA into proteins that then carry out the functions that enable cells to live and work together in the body of an organism. In the nucle...

It has long been shown that protein synthesis can occur in neuronal dendrites, but its significance remained unclear until relatively recently. ... Studies suggest that local protein synthesis has crucial roles in synaptic plasticity, the change in neuronal communication efficiency that is probably a cellular basis of...
