Is there a particular group of Stations where my Soldier might go for Combat Engineering after AIT(which is at FLW along with Basics). What are the Odds of Deployment? He just left today 2/26/09 for Basics. I am very nervouse he might be stationed overseas where it will be hard to visit.

I just want to know where I could all be possibly stationed after AIT (the same place I went as a (25V). I’m trying to corrolate it with where my fiance will be when he finds out (we should be married by then…no date for sure yet) where he’s stationed so I can be with him or close to him (he’s an 88U if that helps);

Hi, I was wondering if you don't select a station of choice after AIT training, is there any way you can find out where you'll be stationed? My son didn't select a station of choice during MEPS, and he says he found a website that told him exactly where he'll be stationed after AIT.

also, how soon do we find out where he is going to be stationed after AIT? If i am married to him do i have to wait any time before moving with him or can i go when he goes? Does he get to pick from a few places that he can be stationed or does he get just one and that it?;

I was stationed in 3rd Special Forces Group after AIT and Airborne School in April of 1995. I was the first female allowed to be assigned to S.F. in a support capacity in a number of years. I was the only female in that unit for six months until another female arrived.

Review of studio apartment at The Villages of Stoney Run in Newport News, VA posted May 27, 2008 ... After 2 weeks they sent maintenance again and this time they pulled up the carpet padding and rotted tack board and sprayed Kilz on the area. This left my apartment smelling like nail polish remover for a few days.

One well spoken recruiter, from any branch, could paint a pretty picture in anyone's mind. ... You do not have a choice where you will get stationed after Basic Training and AIT, which means you could end up being stationed on a rapid deployment base. Rapid deployment bases are the ones that are sent to hostile areas first.
