I have a very hard time finding pedal pulses!! It ... I find the PT much more difficult to palpate. The problem is that a lot of people have extra tissue there and you have to push with some amount of force to feel it. If you push too hard, you may completely occlude it and not feel it pulsate.

My secret weapon for those difficult-to-find pedal pulses is to start at the ankle. There's a notch on the medial side next to the tendon and I can often find a pulse there when I can't feel one further down. ... I want to thank all those persons with replies to landmakr and palpate pedal pulses. Comes in handy.
