Hello everyone, I'm writing an essay on Napoleon and I am struggling to translate the saying 'whiff of grapeshot', referring to Napoleon's victory against royalists at the Tulieries Palace in 1795. I know that grapeshot is Mitraille but I doubt that a litteral translation will work here.
