Farming with Draft Horses ... They have foot pedals and levers to raise and lower the plow. Walking plows came first but as farmers wanted to till more acreage the sulky plow was invented, a farmer could have 2 or 3 teams and change teams every few hours so they could stay in the fields for a longer period of time.
