I bought a Best Buy TV for a friend a while ago, ... Yep, that's what it is. Do a Google on "Best Buy Insignia". ... I did that before checking the files sections for IR files. All I got were Best Buy and Insignia. That was what I already knew. Who makes it? I hate to just return to the question I asked, but there it is.

If there is a code listed for Tatung, give that one a try. I believe the Insignia TV's are manufactured by this company for Best Buy. Alternatively, get hold of a universal learning remote and learn the codes. ... ; I too bought an Insignia TV and the salesperson told me that LG makes these units for Best Buy.

Who actually manufactures televisions with the brand name ; "Insignia" on the cabinets? I have thought ... It also has a notice to the repairperson stating that "this service literature is property of the customer and should be returned with the TV". I remember that a lot in TV's made in the 70's. It sure was handy....

I did this, one day, i could *almost* live with this eyestrain, the picture was incredible for quality, but still the eyestrain. Apparently each tv company makes their tubes in a certain way, each brand is different.
