It saddens me to think of all the ill advised people buying new computers running Windows Vista, when they could have chosen XP. As Mr. T was fond of saying back in the 1980s, I pity the fool. ... And that's a shame, because any tests are better than zero tests. And isn't unit testing just a barely more formal way of doing the ad-hoc testing we've been doing all along? I think Fowler said it best: ... I too pity fools who don't write unit tests. But writing the tests first? Not for me, too limiting!
