There was more than a little reason to believe that King Tut may have been murdered. The two principal suspects, Aye who succeeded him as king, and General Horemhab who in turn succeeded Aye to the throne, both appear to have been powerful men who, in effect, ruled Egypt while King Tut was a child.

If you Mean Tutankhamun (Sometimes called King Tut) 1333 - 1324 BC he was succeeded for 4 years by Kheperkheprure Ay 1324 - 1320 BC and then by Horemheb who was Tutankhamuns advisor and General between 1319 – 1292 BC. I hope that answers yo...
