If you make a squeaking noise to a Rabbit or Hamster then you are not likely to get much of a response, but Guinea Pigs are different. Every time I used to go out to feed my Guinea Pigs or check they were ok I used to squeak before I approached their hutch or run and they would squeak loudly and run out to see me.
