People are afraid of change. People should've been speaking the same language decades/centuries ago (not necessarily english, ... Hispanic by its very definition teaches not to assimilate. Most Americans assimilate by 3rd generation. It will take them longer because the media is actively promoting them not to assimilate.

Examples would be nice ... But sizable is only a fraction of what people who took the case to court are winning. They were forced to leave their home and go to religious boarding schools. There, religion (obviously) was forced on them and IF they spoke a single word in their native tongue they were severely punished.

Unfortunately, even duct tape won’t keep people in Bible study. Strong as this gray stuff might be, it cannot hold people together emotionally or spiritually. Only a class that makes assimilating people a serious priority will keep people who attend.
