Is it normal for a baby to stick their tongue out about 80% of the time? She kind of curls it upwards to the side and its really pointy. Really really cute! But..... She does have feeding issues, ... In contrast, sometimes they can have high muscle tone in their mouth and have what is called "tongue thrust" all the time,

My baby girl is 5 months old and she sticks her tongue out constantly! My daughters think its ... I have seen a few yorkies that stick their tongue's out just like your little girl. In fact...a male in my recent litter did the same thing all the time. It was so hard to get a picture of him without his tongue sticking out.

What she recalls is that when a baby is constantly sticking out his tongue, it could be a sign of "something". She can not remember if it was Autism or Dehydration or possibly something else. After searching on the internet, I have been unable to find any information on this subject.

[Archive] Anyone have info on tongue tied or babies with tongue problems? Marketplace ... I did a search on line and it says that tongue tied babies can't stick their tongue out past the bottom gums. Well, my Sienna has her tongue hanging out all of the time. It is rarely in her mouth. She looks like a puppy dog.
