Then about two weeks after my period ended i got a brown discharge when i wiped..after seven days of it it became a little better so i had sex with my bf. It hurt so we stopped. afterward i was having light pink bleeding.

I finished my period last month sometime around february 28. We've been intimate just about every day of march so far except for 2-3 random days. It's currently march 19 and yesterday during the day I had some light bleeding which was pink at first and has now turned to a darker shade.

I was expecting my period this week and when it started about 3 days ago it was very very light and dark brown. I have been incredibly nervous that this is a sign of pregnancy, but I had protected sex, so I am almost confident that I'm not...and it sounds like these lighter and shorter periods are common?

Alice, Is it possible to be pregnant even after you have had your period (if it was VERY light)? I read this somewhere. —Am I or am I not? ... In other words, a light period one month may or may not mean that one is pregnant, especially depending upon whether or not there has been unprotected intercourse during that month.
