Reply in writing or in kind. To be most proper, one would reply in writing, ... Non-English speakers: If you are inviting someone who is not a native English speaker, they may not know what "RSVP" means, so add a note of explanation. Quite a number of cultures do not have the same rules about replying to invitations.
