First, the name. There is another moth called the Hebrew Character (see below). So, 'Setaceous' (bristly) is used to differentiate between them. I presume the 'bristles' refer to the ridge ... Although this moth didn't attend the party it is worth placing here as a comparison against the Setaceous Hebrew Character (above).
