This is my Tyrian/Tyrian 2000 page. All the graphics and stuff are mine or World Tree Games's, you can't steal them. It was last updated on 23rd March, making it about the only updated Tyrian page on the net (NOTE: this is no longer true).

Back in the day, PC gamers had two great shareware shoot-em-ups to choose from: Raptor and Tyrian. While many chose Raptor (whose full name is Raptor: Call of the Shadows), the clear winner in terms of care and quality is Tyrian.

OpenTyrian is a port of the DOS shoot-em-up Tyrian. Jason Emery generously gave the OpenTyrian developers a copy of the Tyrian 2.1 source code, which has since been ported from Turbo Pascal to C. The port uses SDL, making it easily cross-platform.
