There is one option where I can adjust brightness, gamma, stuff like that..but I don't think thats what I adjusted. Those are all set on defaults. ... but i have toshiba with a "power saver" program allowing me to adjust battery life by brightness, cpu usage, memory.. etc.. see if you can find anything similar..
