I have been reading and trying to come to terms with A.R. Ammons The Selected Poems for nearly two weeks now. I have never been introduced to his poetry in any of the many poetry classes I have taken, so I am a little surprised at how much I like his poetry.

1 of the ballsiest things to occur in the published world of poetry was the release of a book length poem by the recently-deceased A.R. Ammons called Garbage. It’s too easy to go where you know I can. That the same title would be apropos for his inevitable Collected Poems should, likewise, be obvious.
