Antipope (1370-1419) ... d. 22 November, 1419. Cardinal Baldassare Cossa was one of the seven cardinals who, in May, 1408, deserted Gregory XII, and, with those belonging to the obedience of Benedict XIII (see PEDRO DE LUNA), convened the Council of Pisa, of which Cossa became the leader.

Hi I was wondering if you knew anything about the early days of Pope John XIII when he went by the name Baldassare Cossa. Before he was governor of Bologna it was said that he was an adventurer/pirate type person and I was hoping you would have a resource as to the name of the ship he sailed.
