I took it to AutoZone yesterday and had it scanned and it came up as P0440 (which is Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction). The guy at AutoZone (who seemed like he wasn't the brightest bulb in the bunch) said that it must be that the gas cap is leaking and not holding pressure.

Anybody out there have any info on a Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction. Error Code 0440. It pops up about every week and stays reset when reset. The condition always occurs on a restart when the engine temp is normal, never cold.
