NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. - Niagara scored three power play goals on its way to defeating the Rensselaer men's hockey team, 4-1, for its first victory of the season. The Purple Eagles improve to 1-8-2, while the Engineers are now 7-5-2. Senior Paul Kerins scored for RPI, who got 25 saves from sophomore Allen York.
